NexGard Flea & Tick Chewables for Medium Dogs

KES 1,800

NexGard Flea & Tick Chewables for Medium Dogs is a once-monthly, soft, beef-flavored oral treatment that delivers fast, reliable protection against fleas and ticks. Formulated with the active ingredient afoxolaner, each tasty chew is readily accepted by most dogs and provides a full month of systemic protection. Available in convenient color-coded packs matched to medium-sized dogs (typically 10.1–24 lbs / blue or 10.1–25 kg / green depending on market), it is suitable for puppies from 8 weeks of age and dogs weighing at least 2–4 kg (depending on local labelling).

Benefits

  • Starts killing fleas within 4–8 hours and provides >99% effectiveness against adult fleas.
  • Kills fleas before they can lay eggs, helping break the flea life cycle and reduce home infestations.
  • Treats and controls multiple tick species.
  • Helps reduce the risk of Lyme disease by killing black-legged ticks.
  • Soft, highly palatable beef-flavored chew — easy to give as a treat or with food.
  • No messy application, no residual grease, and efficacy is not affected by bathing or swimming.
  • Convenient monthly dosing that fits easily into a routine.
  • Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks (minimum weight applies) and for breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs in many markets when used as directed.
Ingredients

Active ingredient
Afoxolaner (isoxazoline class)
Medium Dog (US blue pack): 28.3 mg per chew
Medium Dog (AU/EU green pack): 68 mg per chew
Inactive ingredients (typical): maize starch, soy protein fines, beef braised flavouring, povidone, macrogols, glycerol, medium-chain triglycerides, citric acid monohydrate, butylhydroxytoluene (antioxidant). Exact list may vary slightly by market.

Usage Guide

Weigh your dog accurately and select the correct pack (blue 10.1–24 lbs or green 10.1–25 kg).
Give one chew orally once every month.
Can be given with or without food. Most dogs take it as a treat.
Ensure the entire chew is consumed. If vomiting occurs within 2 hours or part of the dose is lost, re-dose with a full chew.
If a dose is missed, give it as soon as possible and resume the monthly schedule.
Continue monthly treatment year-round in areas with year-round flea/tick pressure.
For dogs outside the medium weight range, use the appropriate smaller or larger strength (or combination under veterinary guidance).

Important
  • For dogs only. Do not use on cats or other species.
