Prescription Policy
This Prescription Policy explains how we dispense prescription veterinary medicines and clinical diets through the Isapet pharmacy. It should be read alongside our full Terms & Conditions.
Valid Prescriptions
Dispensing of prescription veterinary medications through our pharmacy strictly requires a valid veterinary prescription, either issued by an Isapet veterinarian or uploaded as a PDF prescription from a recognized licensed practitioner.
Verification
We reserve the right to verify prescription validity — including contacting the prescribing vet where needed — before dispensing or dispatching any pharmaceutical item. This may add time to your order; we'll let you know if it does.
Clinical Diets
Prescription and therapeutic diets follow the same rule: a valid prescription is required before dispatch.
No Returns on Dispensed Items
Once a prescription item has been dispensed, it cannot be returned, due to biosecurity and quality control regulations. See our Returns Policy for details on non-prescription items.
Uploading a Prescription
Upload your prescription on our Pharmacy page, or bring it with you when you visit the clinic.
