A Permanent ID for Your Pet

A tiny microchip gives your pet a lifelong ID, so they can be traced back to you if they get lost.

Vet scanning a cat for a microchip
What's included
  • Microchip implant
  • Scan to confirm the chip reads
  • Registration of your contact details
  • Microchip certificate
What to expect
The chip is the size of a grain of rice and is placed under the skin between the shoulder blades. It takes seconds. It has no battery and lasts your pet's lifetime.
What to bring
Your ID and phone number. If travelling abroad with your pet, tell us your destination.
Does it hurt?
It feels like a routine injection. Most pets barely react.
Does it track my pet?
No. It stores an ID number. A scanner reads it when the pet is found.
Do I need one for travel?
Most countries require it for pet travel. See our Pet Relocation service.
